Anna Williams

Biography

Anna Williams returned to the Kinesiology Department in 2018 after a brief departure to serve as an Allied Health Advisor within the Pre-Professional Advising Office at UGA. Prior to joining the Pre-Professional Office, Anna served as the academic advisor for students majoring in Exercise and Sport Science and Athletic Training here at UGA for two years. She assisted many students toward their goals of pursuing allied health professions in these programs, and is excited to return to the Kinesiology Department to support its academic programs in a new capacity.

Born and raised in the Athens area, Anna received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia. Anna was also a part of the Athletic Training program at UGA, and worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) while obtaining her Master’s degree from Columbus State University. Upon completion of this degree, Anna moved to Albany, Georgia where she worked as a Health and PE teacher for four years. Anna was excited to return to Athens in 2015 to work with students at UGA to help them to achieve their academic and career goals.
