Biography
Bob Capuozzo is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Educational Theory and Practice at the University of Georgia. He also serves as program coordinator of the Early Childhood/Elementary Education program. His clinical work has included being a professor-in-residence; teaching on-site courses; supervisor of field experiences in centers and schools; and serving on school level governance teams. He is committed to social justice and helping teacher candidates better understand themselves so they can effectively work with all children. Bob is an advocate for play based pedagogies; the arts and creativity; and education of the whole child.
Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Georgia in 2013, Dr. Bob was an Associate Professor at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He completed his doctoral studies at Arizona State University.
