Carla Wilson Buss

Biography

I’m an Ohio native and have been at the University Libraries since August 1997. I started in Reference as a Librarian I, straight from Kent State, in the Main Library and after six years was transferred to the Student Learning Center (now the Miller Learning Center). I was still in Reference as well as being the instruction coordinator. In 2006 there was an opening in the Curriculum Materials Library and I was hired to fill the vacancy. I’m now an “old-timer” and a Librarian IV. This has been my favorite job in the years I’ve been at UGA. I love the work in the CML–Reference, Instruction, Library Administration and Ordering. I especially am fond of my patron base in the COE–undergraduates, grad students and faculty–all are wonderful to work with. I’m thankful every day to be here.
