Hye-Jeong Choi

Hye-Jeong Choi is Adjunct Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology and Assistant Research Scientist at Georgia Center for Assessment. Her research focuses on methodological issues in measurement, including item response theory models, latent class analysis, and diagnostic classification models. These models can be combined as finite mixture models to better understand individual differences in response patterns in various testing settings. These are a promising way of understanding qualitative individual differences in learning or problem solving process. Her research also has focused on latent growth modeling with categorical data and Bayesian approach in analyzing complex data.
