Jade May


Jade May is an Academic Advisor for Kinesiology department in the College of Education. In this position, she advises students within the Exercise and Sport Science Program.

Jade is from Mount Airy, Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Piedmont College in 2018 and a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University in 2020. Prior to joining the College of Education, Jade served as the Graduate Assistant of the Peer Mentor Program within the Center for Student Engagement at Florida International University and interned with the Office of Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity at Auburn University. She bases her practice on the framework of equipping students with the tools to become effective leaders and to inspire, empower, and influence positive change.

In her free time, Jade enjoys creating music, watching reality TV, and spending time with her husband, Tyler, and their dogs, Yankee and Pika!
