Biography

Jessie Torelli is an associate professor at the University of Georgia in the Department of Communication Sciences and Special Education. Before earning her PhD, she was a public school teacher and practicing behavior analyst. Her research focuses on applying evidence-based practices in classroom settings to promote students’ social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes.

Dr. Torelli will consider doctoral student applications for the 2026–20207 admissions cycle in the Special Education Ph.D. Program.
