Laurie Dollner


By design, I am a support person. I find those practical needs and meet them… I enjoy taking care of the details. With 25+ years of executive support and office management experience, I love working with good people and taking on new challenges.

After getting a BA in Psychology, I began my career in Orlando, as a receptionist. I quickly moved into event coordination and membership services with Florida Citrus Sports. My interests moved me to Nashville, where I assisted a Vice President in artist marketing and development at Reunion Records. Due to company changes, I got adventurous and took an administrative position in special events at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles. I loved L.A. and stayed 14 years! Professionally, I moved from events to a celebrity personal assistant, then as a manager of live action production at Universal Studios Home Entertainment. After a brief stop in Kansas, serving as an executive assistant/office manager at a successful real estate company, I relocated to Connecticut. Life changes and the need to be closer to my family brought me to Athens and to the Educational Theory & Practice department at UGA!
