Leslie lives in NE Georgia, but has called Athens home since 2000 when she entered the University of Georgia as a non-traditional student. Leslie earned two degrees from UGA: an undergrad degree in History and a masters in Secondary Social Science Education. After teaching for several years, Leslie returned to UGA and the Mary Frances Early College of Education in 2014.
