Leslie Elisabeth Moon

Born of the red clay roads of Albany, Georgia, Leslie Moon has called Georgia home for most of her life. A world traveler by the age of 11, Leslie lived and traveled in South East Asia as well as various states stretching from California to South Carolina. Leslie lives in NE Georgia, but has called Athens home since 2000 when she entered the University of Georgia as a non-traditional student. Leslie earned two degrees from UGA: an undergrad degree in History and a masters in Secondary Social Science Education. After teaching for several years, Leslie returned to UGA and the Mary Frances Early College of Education in 2014. Outside of the Arches, you will find her knitting, hanging out with her husband, worrying about her fruit trees and chasing birds out of her blueberry bushes. But mostly knitting.
