Lisa Hamilton Rajaram, Ph.D.

Dr. Lisa Hamilton-Rajaram is a faculty member in the Department of Educational Theory and Practice at the University of Georgia. Her research interests include feminist-oriented teacher education and centers the lived experiences of teachers navigating neoliberal schooling, education policy, and community expectations. Her work has been presented at annual meetings of American Education Research Association, American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education and International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry, among others. Before entering doctoral study, she served as an assistant principal in New York City and teacher in Metro Atlanta.
