Rebecca Shisler Marshall

Biography

Rebecca Shisler Marshall, PhD (CCC-SLP) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences & Special Education at the University of Georgia. She is also a mindfulness instructor, certified life coach and yoga instructor, reiki master, and shamanic practitioner. Her primary research interests include integrative wellness for individuals with aphasia, as well as for college students.

Research Summary

Dr. Marshall specializes in integrative wellness, mindfulness, and other complementary approaches to living a balanced life. With the importance of wellness in stroke prevention, her research includes not only individuals with aphasia, but also stress and wellness in the student population. In addition, she is developing a multi-dimensional and integrative assessment of wellness.
