Teresa McClure

Biography

Teresa McClure brings more than 30 years of dedicated service to the University of Georgia. She currently serves as an academic advisor for undergraduate students pursuing Health and Physical Education and Sport Management majors and is an affiliate academic coach with the Office for Student Success and Achievement.

Teresa earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science from UGA in May 2020 while working full-time. Continuing her commitment to lifelong learning, she completed a Master’s in Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development and a Graduate Certificate in Organization Coaching in December 2025. These accomplishments reflect her passion for empowering students and fostering growth through education and coaching.

As a first-general college graduate, Teresa understands the challenges of navigating higher education and strives to be a supportive resource for students as the pursue their academic and personal goals.

Outside of her professional role, Teresa enjoys spending time with her family, reading, horseback riding, playing with her dogs, waling, and exploring the outdoors.
