Research Summary
Devoted to developing: (1) aligned organizational systems that are poised to achieve strategy, foster optimal organizational effectiveness, and be amazing places for employees to work and (2) the leaders needed to enable that.
My work thus far that has contributed to my mission includes (1) Strategic planning, alignment, and implementation in organizations; (2) The systems that supports transfer of learning (applying/performing what’s learned in training back in the workplace); (3) Talent management (the integrated HR and organizational systems needed to identify, develop, and support critical talent pools); (4) Organization development and change; and (5) Building the HROD profession (foundations, what is required for strategic alignment and contribution). I also have a keen interest and growing area of research in the professional (or advanced practice) doctorate and “doctorateness” as related to professional practice.
